Joy unspeakable. Peace unshakable. A foretaste of forever.
Joy unspeakable. Peace unshakable. A foretaste of forever.

Recently, I heard a story about someone describing an experience of awe and wonder. It made me pause and reflect on similar moments I’ve been having since growing closer to Christ. As a believer, it’s comforting to know that others have felt the same kind of joy. When we hear stories that mirror our own, it somehow confirms that the joy we’re experiencing is real and true—and that it can come upon us at any moment.

If we’re willing to receive it, these moments feel good, peaceful, joyous—so much so that they’re hard to describe. Tears may well up in our eyes as we experience this fullness and energy.

I call these glory-filled moments—feelings so indescribable, yet so complete. Our arms lift up, and our palms may even turn upward toward the heavens. I believe these moments are sacred slices of heaven on earth. A foretaste of what’s to come. A peace so great, we are beside ourselves with an overwhelming sense of joy—too big to describe.

I want to thank God this morning for giving me several minutes of these feelings just yesterday at sunrise. And my prayer today is that anyone reading this would begin to experience and choose a walk with our Savior. That they would be willing to open their hearts and minds to a new way of life.

These sacred moments are truly a blessing. They provide hope for what’s to come as we reflect on our own mortality. This life on earth is but a blink compared to eternity in peace.

Psalm 16:11, is a wonderful verse to look up today. I encourage you to crack open the Holy Bible and spend time in it. Pray for a willing heart to receive and be open to the eternal wonders He will gift you with if you choose to believe.

Grace to you,

Cindy
